The Moscow Troika card is a convenient fare card that is accepted on all public transportation as well as some city services, such as the Zoo and bike sharing. This app allows you to easily check the balance of your Troika card and purchase tickets online, which can then be recorded onto the card using your NFC-enabled device.

This app has been highly anticipated by Moscow mass transit passengers.

PLEASE NOTE: Not all NFC-equipped smartphones are capable of reading the contactless chips used in Troika cards due to hardware limitations.

Electronic tickets are stored directly on the Troika card, so you will need an NFC-enabled smartphone to write tickets onto your card.

The electronic purse feature allows passengers to choose the desired amount for their tickets.

Over 90 ticket types are supported by the app, including MCD (Moscow Central Diameters), MCR (Moscow Central Ring), and tickets for social cards like those for students.

To reserve funds, simply enter your payment card details in the app (rest assured, we never store bank card data).

When recording a newly purchased ticket, make sure to hold your Troika card against the NFC antenna of your device (refer to your device's user manual for the exact location of the antenna).

Payment is only charged to your payment card once a newly purchased ticket has been successfully recorded onto your Troika card.
